My husband and I are moving into a house with baseboard heat.

Neither one of us have ever lived with this type of heat and we aren't sure how close we can safely put our furniture to the units.

Please help!

i've tried remover and was told because it was because it's in my kitchen. i'd rather have painted walls without remodeling the whole thing.

im moving into a new house, and im not sure what i want my bedroom to look like..theres trim near the celing that's white (same as near the floorboards) i want to keep thoes both white. i just want to change the color of the celing and the walls to something that's not white, i would like some clolor added to my room. Or if you have a good theme that would be helpful as well. I just ask for a non-beach theme, or goth. i dont put posters on my walls either, so i want something elegant, peaceful, calming, and unique...any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

The bricks on my fireplace were painted when I bought my house. Is there anything I can do to either remove the paint to expose the original brick or is there something I can paint over it that will make it look decent?

I have an entertainment center that is very close to the fireplace. There is no other place to move it to, and it gets a bit hot when the fireplace is on. Is there some kind of furniture cover or other product that would protect the wood from the heat?

It is woven cloth and it is tacked to a wooden frame. Hole could have been caused insect. The remainder of the material has no rot and i was able to gently vacuum the dust of it. Cleaning did not cause hole.

I want to do a cloud design in my blue bathroom the kids use, when I picked colors I didn't know that the toilet and sink were going to come in a robin's egg blue, the tub and surround are like a cornflower blue, and the vanity top is like a blue/gray marble. This is our first house, modular, no one told me these things, I thought I was just picking a vanity top color. How do I bring all these different hues together without painting the walls white? I need a cheap way, house is only 2 yrs old & hubby refuses to rip apart the bath. Anyone had a similar problem? HELP!

The hallway has 3 doorways on one wall, both ends are open. The other wall had 8 children their spouses, our parents, brothers and sisters,12 grandchildren pictures from baby, to marriage to divorce, dogs, cats, you name it. I love the hall of fame, cause it brings back a lot of memories for me and some of the family. But I would love to do something a little different. the pictures goes from 3x4 to 8x10. it is something to see. There are around 100 together. This hallway is using just by my husband and me. Thanks
