I am looking for bathroom vanities but I don't have a very big budget. I've checked lowes and home depot but everything is out of my price range. I can't seem to find many other stores or places that sell them. Any ideas?

Check your paper for estate sales. I buy so much stuff that originally would cost a fortune for only a couple bucks. Also try Craig's List.

You can check your area for an architectural salvage dealer. They will sometimes have used vanities and bathroom fixtures for a good price.

If you have a Habitat for Humanity retail store in your area, that is also a good resource. I recently picked up a 30" oak vanity cabinet brand new in the box for $65 from HFH. It had just been donated by a local builder.

As someone else mentioned, Craig's List is a good one too.

Check the Salvation Army resale shops. Second hand shops are a good place to find treasures. You may have to do some refinishing to the piece(s).
Call local 'remodeler' and ask if they have any jobs coming up. They will usually let the 'old' vanities go for nothing.

Check out the unfinished furniture places.Check out companies that sell them and see if they have any slightly damaged ones.

Look at Wal*Mart. They have a bunch of stuff. I'm not sure if it would be what you are looking for, but they always have what I'm looking for. Hope this helps.

Look in the want adds under items for sale, or put in a "wanted" item in the newspaper. (They still have those things, y'know!)
