They are definitely worth the money, and it's a great investment for your neck. But you have to spend the extra money to get a good one because I tried a few cheaper brands that didn't do anything good. I purchased a Millennium Pillow by Tempur-pedic for about a hundred dollars and I have had it for three months and it is wonderful. Cheaper pillows, unfortunately, were just actual foam, like sponge material, and they seemed to cause more trouble than a regular pillow.

I honestly think they're POSs and should never be used if you want a good night's rest. The problem with the memory foam is that it has a piss poor memory so it doesn't really conform to your head like it does in the commercial. It gives very little when you rest your head against it which stretches your neck more than a normal pillow since your head is resting higher than it should and it's not only uncomfortable but, if you manage to get to sleep, you're going to wake up with a really sore neck in the morning.

Nothing is ever going to beat an old-fashioned soft pillow.

We purchased one to try and fell in love with it. Ours is a combination; one side is memory foam and the other is microfiber fill. The two combined allow for the support of the microfiber but the comfort of a down like substance. We've since bought the same pillow for all the kids and a bed topper. I never realized how poorly I slept till I'd had a chance to sleep on this! Amazing!

Good luck.

I started using memory foam pillows about 4 yrs ago because I was waking up every day with a headaches or neck pain. It took me about a week to get use to it but I stuck with it and now I never wake with head or neck pain. I take mine where ever I go. I can not sleep on another pillow without getting neck or head pain.

They are only worth the money if you purchase a well made one not an immatation... see the website below and be prepared to spend at least $ 75.00 to $ 100.00 for a good pillow. Also check out the warranty it does have advantages!

I bought a memory pillow and was soooooo disappointed!
Before I went to bed I told it my name, D.O.B, telephone number etc etc and asked it to wake me up at 7am and when I finally woke up in the morning at 8:35 it had not remembered any of this nor to wake me up at 7 am!
