The hallway has 3 doorways on one wall, both ends are open. The other wall had 8 children their spouses, our parents, brothers and sisters,12 grandchildren pictures from baby, to marriage to divorce, dogs, cats, you name it. I love the hall of fame, cause it brings back a lot of memories for me and some of the family. But I would love to do something a little different. the pictures goes from 3x4 to 8x10. it is something to see. There are around 100 together. This hallway is using just by my husband and me. Thanks

Why would you want to change something that brings you and your husband such pleasure? I think what you did is priceless and you should keep it. I have pencil marks on one wall of all the kids, grandkids, etc. heights. They always check it when they visit and tell me if I ever move, I have to take that piece with me.

You probably want a change of scenery so pick another room for the pictures or put a few albums on your coffee table so when people come over they can skim through them while sitting. As far as the hallway, put up some nice art or pictures of some great vacation spots that'll make you feel relaxed and peaceful as you walk through that hallway.

That sounds absolutely lovely, I'm attempting to do something similar but my hallway is not that long and the family not that big. One rule I made for myself was to only use genuine wooden frames, not exactly alike but the different woods "go together" a bit of an overhaul and maybe a reframe would just be enough. I would certainly not remove it.

How about (?).... making one to four "frames" using corner or base molding (attach the pieces directly to the wall), paint the inside part of that wall(inside the "frame) a different color(or use a fabric or wallpaper) than the rest of the wall, and putting your framed pictures inside your big "frames". I can picture what I'm talking about but I don't know if you can. Just a thought.
[Don't put the pictures in by size...mix them up]

EDIT>>>>> Did I misunderstand? I thought you wanted to do something different that included the pictures.
