We are switching out the carpet in our kitchen for vinyl (actually, it's better, it has fiberglass or something in it too). Anyway.... while the stove and fridge and such are all moved out I am going to clean the walls. The walls are painted taupe...
Behind the stove they are are streaked and greasy. What would be the best way to go about cleaning these walls?

ok to make a long story short i recently moved out of my apartment into my new home. when leaving the apartment we had to have the carpets professionally cleaned which we did by a local mom and pop operation that the apartment management had recommended. we lived in a pet friendly community and had 2 dogs and i also owned my own carpet cleaner which we used on the apartment once every 2 months. i also carpet cleaned the whole apartment before i left. now after the mom and pop operation did their carpet cleaning as was required by the lease i signed the apartment smells like stagnant water really bad. the landlord is trying to blame us for the smell but i did the whole apartment before i left and there was no smell and now its rancid as for when we did the walkthough. does anyone know if its possible to have that stagnant water smell from in carpet from anything other than stagnant water? the landlord wants to blame it on the pets but its not possible as did the cleaning 1 week prior.

"Teflon protectant" is worth purchasing for an additional 35 bucks. Is it worth it? Or is it just a B.S. add-on they try to sell you to bump up their profit on the job?

I've tried everything to clean my shower...straight bleach, Scrubbing Bubbles, Orange Clean, Zap!, Kaboom, Simple Green, Tilex, Comet, and that new Comet spray gel stuff. The new Comet bathroom cleaner faded the tiles and did an OK job, but my tiles still aren't clean and sparkling white. Ugh! Please help....what works? Is there something that isn't toxic and doesn't have a lot of fumes as my bathroom has no window and the Comet cleanser that I just used gave me a headache!

Why socks can't commit and stay a couple? They keep disappearing, and only one sock is usually present! I have a long white sporty sock, a short pink sock, a flowery sock and a striped sock. I rolled them into balls, as I was taught, to keep them together, and today I unrolled one ball, and it was only ONE sock inside!
Do they have a commitment problem?
