Dishwashers seem to clean glasses and tumblers really well but we don't have one and our pint glasses and tumblers are starting to go cloudy at the bottom (where it is difficult to reach with a scourer).

Does anyone have any tips for getting them shiny clean again?

This is a 2 story house with 3 bedrooms. It has not been deep cleaned not really cleaned at all in 6 months. (Except dishes and mild sweeping)
There are water stains in the bathroom and kitchen.
There is pet hair everywhere...even the walls and curtains.
There is a smell in on the wood stairs like pet urine maybe.
And there are personal things all over that i do not know where to place them. Knick knacks to old mail, tools ad well just things they never put away.

The dishes are all dusty in the cup boards to. And there is old cake mixes and such all dusty.
Where do I start? is one room easier to start with?
What about all the pet hair on everything including the walls...i do not want it spreading on the things I have wiped allready?
Thanks.

I have rescued a really heavy down filled blanket from the lake. I really want to freshen it up and put a cover over it and use it. The problem is after being stored up for over 20 years at the cabin it smells musty. Is there any great ways to get the musty smell out of this blanket or will it remain with the blanket forever because of the feathers?

Well...

I recently bought a very nice tee shirt, and it fits me perfectly, but I wanted it to loosen a bit, instead of hugging my torso.

Is there ANYTHING I can do about it? Other then getting a larger size?

Should I stretch it, or put in the washing machine?

Thanks in advancee :)

I'm shopping around for a washing machine and have noticed that some are cold fill only. I want to understand if that is good/bad and what the potential costs to me might be.

I'm thirteen and I cannot seem to get my lazy butt to pick it up. There's clothes everywhere. After I use something, I throw it on the floor. There's Azumanga Daioh Mangas in one corner, shoes in another and clothes all over. If I actually knew how to plan it out in steps, that would help. And my the top of my dresser is a mess. My desk is okay, and My nightstand doesn't need much, but the room is a disaster. I need help. I want to be able to have friends over and not be embabrassed or anything. I'd also like my parent's to stop reffering it to a tornado. Help?

Our old basement laundry tub has got many stains and even some old paint stains. It's one of those plastic type tubs and it's in the workroom so it gets a fair bit of abuse (and gunk). I'm thinking a solvnet might work, but don't want to melt the plastic with something like acetone. I tried bleach with not much luck. Any ideas ?

My problem....I use wash rags for clean-ups in the kitchen and my two year old after meals. I NEVER use the same one twice and have many to use so after one use I throw in the laundry for washing. I'm not sure where the "MUSTY ODOR" is coming from but does anyone know what could be causing them to smell like thant and no matter how much laundry soap and fabric sheets I use the freshly cleaned ones will still smell like that even after being wet down to clean up? And what could I use to get the smell out of them? Or is it just pointless and just throw them away & start over? Anyone have a take on this one? Please help if you can...sorry it's so lengthy. Thank you!
