Arm & Hammer Sensitive -- no dyes, no added crap stuff. I have REALLY sensitive skin and am allergic to a lot of stuff. I went through ALL the detergents, and this is the only one (even out of all the A&H's!) that does not make me break out.
And I add regular strength Downey -- to the WASH, not the rinse. Too much yucky stuff left on the clothes when I do it in the rinse.
And unscented dryer sheets. Generic (here we have Giant).
That's it. Have to go put stuff in the dryer as we speak (sts)!

I use ALL Free and Clear. We have allergies and sometimes the perfume in detergent is overwhelming, so I use the non-fragranced laundry soap and keep a nice smelling fabric softener on hand when I want the clothes to smell really nice.

I use only non-detergent natural biodegradable cleaners in all areas of cleaning. For the laundry, I use Seventh Generation

I use Purex....you can usually get it for less than $4/100 oz.
I also use Downy dryer sheets (the liquid clogged up my dispenser on my machine, so after a costly repair bill I switched to sheets.)
