I watch this 1st grader and his mom didn't put his pull up on him this morning. He comes at 5 am and I get him up for school. He peed on my couch! What is the best way to clean that here at home? I have a Bissel cleaner. I just need to know the easiest way to clean it so my house doesn't stink?

Hmmm a first grader urinating on the couch okay I have a solution for you, First you must blot out the stain and wetness with a clean white towel or one preferably that does not bleed any color then add one cup of White Vinegar to hot water which has been added to half bucket of water, then use a sponge or cloth and scrub the stain a few times then blot out as much moisture as you can until almost dry or just slightly moist, then rinse with warm water with a clean sponge or cloth but avoid getting the couch fabric too wet as this will cause a watermark or stain then blot again until it is almost dry but still moist then sprinkle some Baking soda on the spot and allow to sit for several hours then just vacuum off, you couch will be clean and odor free Good Luck !

Try Spot Shot. It is a carpet cleaner but I use it on my couches all the time (especially when my nephew visits!). It works great!

Try in a corner or the back of a cushion first to make sure couch material is color-fast.

You have 2 choices:

Take the cushions in to get dry cleaned, ASAP.

or

Use a wet vac to vacuum as much out as possible. If you don't have one, go rent a carpet cleaner with the upholstery attachment. Do it soon, before it dries.
