I hate that it is so heavy, other than that it's a great vacuum. I've had it for 15yrs (Kirby Generation 3).=)

Actually I can't complain at all about my vacuum. The Miele Callisto is very light, has the best filtration around, it uses bags that seal themselves up, a double swivel powerhead, graphite wands, a crushproof hose with a handle that is incredibly ergonomic and well built, a park system, a wonder ful cord rewind, and really good suction. Was it expensive? Yes, $699 for a vacuum (I got mine a $100 off by calling Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew great company) but it was well worth it and now I have a vacuum that works and I will last me 20-25 years.

I hate the fact that I can't just go to the store where I bought it and buy new filters. They don't even carry this brand now and the only place I've found filters is on-line. A set of 2 is around $50.00 before shipping and handling charges. I'm looking at new vacuums.......

It can be heavy.... Although I love my vacuum it's a hoover savvy w/ attachments. .It really works nice and the problems I have had with it have been taken care of under warranty... I've had it for 5 yrs. and it's the longest lasting vacuum I've had... My mother in law has a refurbished KIRBY that she received as a wedding present over 30 yrs. ago.. Her mother in law has a KIRBY as well that is over 60 yrs. old.. They get them rebuilt every yr.. for about $12-20 dollars... The downside is that it is really, really heavy, but it works great...

I seem to go through a lot of 'em with 3 cats! I just got a new dirt devil I like it but it is heavy.

My M-I-L has a Rainbow Vac. It's super nice. I tease her that one day she's gonna find it missing : ) . I just don't have a couple grand to drop on a vacuum cleaner.

That I have to clean up the area, take it out, use it and then put it away. I don't have a lot of carpets so it becomes a pain when you have to do it for such a small job.

I hate bagless! It was lots easier and less dusty to just replace a bag.
