This is my situation. Single mom. Working 45 hrs per week. High stress professional job.

Preferably answers from someone in the same circumstances would be best. Please state your circumstances too.

How do you find the motivation to clean when you are so dead tired after working all day and barely have the energy to make dinner let alone do the dishes after?

How do you keep organized? Are you able to follow a schedule? What do you do when you get really behind and the tasks seem overwhelming?

Sometimes I feel like the only answer is to call in sick once a month just so I can keep my home in order. Help please!

I have a fairly new garbage disposal in my kitchen sink, but it's getting really smelly! I didn't experience this with my old garbage disposal. Is there any sort of cleaner I can put in there that will take the smell out?

I've noticed after washing my dark clothes, the machine leaves what looks to be dried/leftover detergent on the clothes. I have to scrub them with a washcloth to get them clean. This happens before they go in the drier, so I know the washer is the problem. It is a somewhat older machine. Am I using too much detergent? Any other ideas on what the issue might be? thanks!!

I just need them for home use. Like on a spray bottle of vinegar and water. I'm trying to be green and make my own household cleaners.

when you wash your undies, do they come out completely clean like when you bought them, or do they still have a little stain in the crotch area?

I had a 5 gallon jug of oil in my trunk and the cap wasn't tightened on very well so it ALL leaked on the removeable carpet lid that is over the spare tire and down into spare tire well. I've tried several things to get the oil soaked into the carpet out, and nothing has worked. I cleaned up the pool of oil in the tire well with kitty litter, but there is alot of oil residue (and kitty litter) still in there and I can't get that cleaned out either. Please help!!

Does anybody know if it is possible to get ink stains out of a white shirt? I think it is going to be impossible because the ink didnt leak on fresh. I (super smartly) washed a pen and it busted in the dryer and is baked into the clothes. I also need to know how to get it off the inside of my dryer. =( Thanks to anyone who can help!

About a month ago, one of my friends put leftovers in my trunk (seafood alfredo) and it spilled on an old gym bag of mine. I threw the leftovers out, but forgot to take the gym bag up and wash it. About a week ago, I noticed a horrible smell in my car and quickly remembered the smelly gym bag, took it up, and washed it. The smell lingered in my car, so I got it detailed. I also pulled out and washed the trunk liner and literally got in the trunk and SCRUBBED with Lysol and put a bunch of dryer sheets back there. But there is still a smell. I don't know where else to clean to try and get rid of it. The smell now confines itself to my trunk and you can't smell it in the regular part of the car, but I am about ready to take a road trip and I dont' want my luggage to pick up this smell. Is there somethign I can do to neutrlize this odor? I am out of ideas. By the way, I know there is nothing rotting in or under the car. I have been all through it and I just had it serviced.
