I stepped in gum. The bottom part is plastic and the upper part is leather. How can I safely get gum off my sandles?

Freeze it with and ice cube and then you'll be able to peel the gum off. I do it all summer on my kids sandles.

The best and easiest way to get gum off of sandles or anything (even hair) is to apply crisco or lard to it and it wipes right off.

I'm with everybody else, stick it in the freezer and then scrape it off. It's a pain and it's gross, but it works.

Try Goo Gone or pure lemon oil.

Put the sandal in the freezer, when it hardens it should just crack and come off easily.
