Does anybody know if it is possible to get ink stains out of a white shirt? I think it is going to be impossible because the ink didnt leak on fresh. I (super smartly) washed a pen and it busted in the dryer and is baked into the clothes. I also need to know how to get it off the inside of my dryer. =( Thanks to anyone who can help!

EDIT:Hazard
As methylated spirits is a highly flammable liquid, the heat and sparks in kitchens can cause it to catch fire.

The ink might come out but if the pen is baked on the shirt that would be a removal problem.
I can't think of anything to solve that one.
Try this, pull off the pen spray the ink with hairspray if that doesn't work try peroxide if that doesn't work try soaking it in CASCADE! That whitens like bleach....Also Rit or Tintex has a color remover. Might work on ink.
GOOD LUCK!

Here's how I remove ink stains:

Spray with hairspray, and rub it out with a toothbrush...try not to rub too hard, because you can damage the shirt. Keep applying and scrubbing until the stain is gone, then launder. It's always worked for me.

Methylated spirit works quickly to remove ink and grass stains.

Hairspray! Make sure the hairspray has alcohol in it (rubbing alcohol will work also). And Make sure you put it on before you wash and dry it. But sometimes it will work even after you have laundered the shirt.
