I don't think it would work because when they warm up the smell will return. What I do is use dishwasher detergent...especially for white shoes, and use an old toothbrush. I use some of the detergent inside and rinse good and toss in the dryer. I never have a problem with smell after that.

I have never heard this one. But most of the times the trainers smell , because of the inner sole. You can buy new ones . Most big stores sell them. even your local chemist. Air the shoes , ones you remove the inner sole, then pop the new ones in. I do this all the time , makes your feet feel nice and fresh

I have never heard that one. You can purchase odor eaters, use baking soda, or simply wash them in the washer and dry in front of a fan.

try charcoal odor eaters. Charcoal absorbs odors. Febreze works well. Also Baking Soda.

Great, not only when the freezer may smell like fish, now it is going to smell like stinky feet.

I guess you'd have to leave them in there for 2 or 3 days to kill the bacteria. Makes sense to me. Good luck. 2D
