Have you tried Dryell? They work great on pillows without bunching them up. It is about $12 and you can "Dryclean" up to 16 garments with one package.

Jackets really need to be dry cleaned. You will definitely lose shape and possibly shrink them so the linings will be off shaped as well. You will be spending more money in the long run replacing them. Shop around for your dry cleaners.

It WILL change the feel and appearance of your jackets, esp. if they are leather or suade. They sell these dry clean sheets in the laundry aisle with the detergents. It's a few bucks or a little more, but you can "clean" several garnments in the dryer with it.
Honestly, you should be able to "spot-clean" with a damp rag. I have nice wool coats I haven't cleaned, for fear they'd shrink.

If they say dryclean only, then you can only dry clean them, otherwise, you risk ruining them.

You can do the drycleaning at home though in your dryer. Get youself some Dryel. They sell it at WalMart.

I stopped spening money at the drycleaners when I discoverd Dryel.
