After pressing the self clean button do I have to set the time / temp

Press clean and lock the door. It should start to heat, it takes 3 hours to clean. Look up your instructions it will give you step by step instructions.

Read the directions ~ every self cleaning oven (even within Kenmore) is different.
No ~ just push the button - don't set any temperature. The stove knows what to do.
BUT READ THE MANUAL ANYWAY !!!

No. Just lock the door and push the self-cleaning button. The oven will do the rest.

I used to have one in each and every of those and that i hated the self cleansing characteristic. It took a minimum of ninety mins used to plenty electrical energy and that i found I did a greater advantageous pastime with oven cleanser and a rag. solid good fortune.
