you can use Murphy's oil soap or castile or any mild soap. wash from bottom up to prevent drip streaking, and rinse with cool clear water.

I don't think you really can clean the sheetrock.
Though, I do have an unfinished bathroom with just sheetrock and little fingers have dirty it.
I just used water and mild soap. Very damp with the water.
It seems to work, but leaves a slight ring around the area.
