I have wanted a Dyson Animal for a long time and now I'm just going to do it, swallow the pride on the price and get one. I think.........

Now I'm wondering how the Dyson compares to the Bissell Healthy Home. Which one would be better for a home with 3 kids, a husband, 2 cats that shed like mad, and a golden retriever/saint bernard mix dog? Pet hair and allergens is a BIG concern, which is why I'm wanting the Animal but does anyone know if the Bissell is just as good or better? Durability? Reliability?

Or for that matter, anyone own the Animal? Can you tell me what you think? Thanks!!

I just wanna know:
Who cleans your house: you, your kids, or you pay somebody to clean it (i.e., a maid or maid service)?

My mom makes me clean *HER* house and I'm sick of it! Sure, I like a two story house but I didn't think I'd have to clean it everytime. *ONCE*....that's how many times she's taken over my job! Ladies, hear me out, she's never even washed the dishes or take the trash/recycle out on those days, *I DO IT!!*
I know taking the trash out may seem like a man's job, but my dad is busy in AZ right now with the navy and all.
What are your opinions?

How do you effectively clean car windows in a car that has been smoked in? I have tried Windex and the Glass cleaners from the Auto store.... still leaving streaks! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

I have tried baking soda, spray air fresheners, spray bleach, spray anti-bacterial cleaner, and sprinkling comet in it. I live in an apartment, so I can't take it outside and hose it out (no hose). What can I do?? It smells like old fruit!
