Okay I have now purchased two Dawn Foam Soap dispensers and both leak somewhere. I can't find the source but always end up with a ring of soap on the counter underneath the bottle. Anyone else have this problem?? I like the instant foam but hate the mess!

Does anyone have a home recipe for carpet cleaning. I spilt red wine on my new carpet and my home remedy of baking soda and warm water did work to a degree but now there is a dark patch on the carpet. Any useful home made enviromentally friendly cleanning recipes would be great. Thanks.

What products/methods work best for this? I've tried windex, newspapers with water and vinegar and costly specialty products. They work - but all leave a film on the glass.

I have seen these portable steam cleaners on QVC and the Home Shopping Channel advertised and I'm just skeptical as to whether they would work and how long the machine would last. Anybody have any feedback on these things? thanks

My house always seems to smell weird! We are African and my mom cooks lots of fish. Fish does not smell good. I've gone to school smelling like fish before(I figured it out because the dumb, rude kids in my class said "what smells like fish??!") and it was VERY embarrassing. Should I just Febreeze my clothes before school? Or leave them outside?

And how can I get odor out of my home?? AIr freshners don't really help! They just make it smell like fish and flowers.

ANy suggestions are nice. Thanks.

There are getting to be microfiber rags and mops for cleaning. Are they as good as they advertise? Are they worth buying? Why are they better?

My mom bought me this cream colored coat. I love it but of course it gets dirty easily. Its machine washable but it's not supposed to be bleached. The last time I washed it the stains barely budged. So I figure it needs to be pretreated. What is the best way to do this and what are some good products to use?

I have tried dish detergent and water. It seems that the soot has this greasy residue that even Dawn dish detergent won't cut. Anyone know a better way?

The floor has a few bad dirt spots that I have had a hard time getting out, what is a good length of time to let the pine sol etc sit before mopping it up? Thanks in advance for your help!
