I just got my wool coat dry cleaned 2 days ago, but this morning found it had fallen off the hanger on on the the floor and my cat slept on it. It is now embedded with cat hair. How do I remove the hair without having to get it dry cleaned again?

Take a roll of tape, and wrap strips of it around your hand so that the sticky side is out. Ductape or wide masking tape works well for this. Pat the tape against the hair - it will collect it and take it off the coat. You may have to do this several times, depending on how much fur is there, and you may have to pick the last of it off by hand.

I like to use rubber lint brushes. I know one company that makes them is Sweepa. They use Electrostatic action to remove lint, pet hair, etc... You can find them at Linens-N-Things. They work so well for me and I work at a grooming shop-lots of hair!

Wrap sticky tape around you hand and keep patting the coat.

You sound dirty. Try the sticky part of some tape and start keeping your house clean. Gross. If you can't afford a maid, running a vacuum will work wonders at keeping your cat hair off your things.
