I just moved into a new rental apartment. The refridgerator was open and turned off when I moved in. All I have done is plug-in the unit and close the door. There is no food in there.

Everytime I run a load of dark coloured clothes, the black and darker coloured shirts, t-shirts throw up lots of little whitish spots ALL over it. I have bought and used a lint brush but it doesnt help much, I end up using a laundry tip I read on the net (using the inner part of a scotch tape to pick up the spots).
Short of soaking in bleach or cold water and rinsing each item by hand again (which would just make the whole thing so tiresome since there are so many of these shirts) I dont knwo what else to do, I'd like to fix this so that NO white spots turn up at all. Whats causing it??
I dont used fabric softerner for the dark colours, and only Tide laundry detergent. Nothing else.
Since my husband is the one who wears darker shades more, its his clothes that end up ruined! Pls help!
