I have a glass decanter that is cloudy inside.

Is it build up or did something etch the glass? What did you have in it?
If it's just residue because you can't reach in there to clean it well, you can try the following:
Put salt in the decanter with ice cubes and shake it around.
Get a baby bottle brush. Munchkin brand has a scouring pad on the end of their brushes so you could wash it like that as well.

Pour a little bit of DRY rice into it (yes, the kind you eat!!!) and add a bit of dish soap and water. Shake it up, and the rice acts like little baby scrubbies to get the stuff that is sticking to the inside. If it is REALLY bad, you may want to add some baking soda and let it soak- if you are going to do this, add the rice after soaking so that it doesnt get all soggy...
