just pulled out my old leather coat. Its been in storage for a while, and even before then it was in used condition (hand-me-down). The coat is double breasted, 3/4 length black leather and the only problems are that the leather is stiff and feels hard, and there are 5 missing buttons and small pea-sized holes in the leather where the buttons used to be. I need any information on how to repair this coat and get it into the best condition possible for as little money as possible and I need the coat to be ready to wear by saturday morning. Please, if you don't have any helpful info then don't answer, and in advance, thanks for all who do contribute information.

I live in a single-wide and while I was doing laundry, both of my bathroom sinks filled up and water starting coming out of the pipe behind my washing machine. The bathtub, kitchen sink, and toilet were unaffected. The water will not drain from the sinks and I have tried plunging it, pouring boiling water down it, and drano. Nothing has seemed to help. I don't know what else to try. Should I be trying to fix the sinks or the drain behind the washer? Someone please give me some advice.

So i jsut did laundry, but realize my hat stinks....winter hat. Usually within 5 min of getting out of the shower i'm fully dressed (including hat and gloves) and out the door. (not gonna walk 20 min to the atm to get $1.50 just to dry 1 peace of clothing)

So i wanted to wash it, but it definatly wont' be dry by 8 am and the windchill right now makes it -10.

Got the idea from seinfeld......but yeah, i've microwaved thinner materials before and it worekd.

I just put the hat in for 2 minutes on high and it was steaming hot but soaking wet. I'm afraid i'll lose its structural integrity a well before its dry.

Think microwaving on low or medium for 10 minutes is better?

Also, what is a good oven temp. I currently am using my oven as a heater and have it at 550...but feel with the door closed, that'll be too hot.....or if i leave it open, should that be fine? (i'm assuming the coils don't change heat, but they shut off when the desired temp is reached....

I'M working for somebody that is only giving 25% to %30 of her business. I work in homes that are 2000-4000 sq. feet and its a very physical job-not for the unmotivated-I'm only getting 25-30% of the job-take in account that she's doing most of the bathrooms and the kitchen-and floors- I do all vacuming and dusting in these homes . No she is not insured and she supplies very little supplies and I provide my own transportation. She does the advertising and quotes the jobs-her jobs range from $80.00 to 120.00 depending on the home. Yes this is her business but let me remind you that its not easy finding reliable help[ at min. wage and very physical work also. If you want to help me relsolve this fair wage dispute answer openly and put yourself in my shoes-I understand that there is no special skills involved-just hard labor and reliabilty. I'm tremedously counted on for my protion of labor.
