Every morning when you wake up, Swish and Swipe.
Swish and swipe = Run a toilet brush around the bowl and get a lemon smelling clorox wipe and wipe the outside. Don't forget to do the handle, the seat, the rim, the bottom where the boys tend to get some pee down the sides (I have a two year old and a four year old boy.)
This will keep the toilet smelling much better than normal! Good luck! =0)

I have 1 man and 2 teenage sons in my home, so believe me, I know the importance of keeping a toilet smelling good. Get one of those toilet brush containers, fill it with some water and your favorite cleaner or even shampoo that you don't like (I say soap is soap). Every morning just give the toilet a little swish with the brush and flush! This way you always have a clean, fresh smelling toilet.

Good Question! Loads of people I know are paranoid that there toilet smell, even though its fine! My Mum's a huge house proud obsessive, and her remedy is to open up the bathroom window for about an hour every now and again, clean the toilet each month (wiping it down each week) and keeping a good stock of air fresheners handy. Hope this helps?

Use the blocks that you put in the cistern, and one that hangs over the toilet bowl that releases a fluid with every fresh flush, also if you can invest try to get the haze spray that you can set to go off at intervals of your choice ie: 5 mins , 10 mins or every 36 mins, that will impress your house guests,, beautiful !!!!

I find the bleach drop-ins actually smell weird to me. I don’t like them. What I do is use spray of lemon Lysol cleaner every once in a while (directly into bowl) and it kind of diffuses to make the whole room lemony. This is usually when I’m doing a quick “disinfect” of the basin every other day since my “big clean” is on the weekends when I don’t work.

Regular cleaning with bleach, recommend Chlorox, diluted to 1:30, 3 times a week and undiluted bleach into drains, about 5 tablespoon full, leave for 30mins then pour water into them. Remember to do the same for sinks, bathtubs, drain on bathroom floor, anywhere where water is drained.

I use Scrubbing Bubbles. It cleans and sanitizes. Easier to use on the lid and seat, too, because it sprays evenly. Pinesol is really good, too.

clean it, then put a cap full or two of Clorox in, if you have pets close the door. (you don't know if they get thirsty) the Clorox really whitens it and keeps it immaculate plus germ free
