I was changing my sheets and i found a small bug on the crevice on my mattress. I search bed bugs and it didn't look like a bed bug. It had a long body with beige and brownish black stripes. What is this? Is it bed bugs?

Tube was set on top & superglue oozed out on to wood. Need to remove without taking off the finish. I now have a blob of superglue that is approximately 1" in circumference & approzimately 3/16" deep.

DH washed some clothes with a pen in the pocket. I thought the ink stains in the dryer were dried up but when I put another load in, the ink bled all over them too. I need to know how to get the ink out of the clothes and especially out of the dryer so it doesn't keep ruining clothes! (When I left the house this morning I put the clothes back in the washer to soak with Tide and Borax and turned the dryer on (empty) for as long and hot as it will go.)

I need help, some of my clothes have shrunk! I'm not talking like kiddie size but I can tell a difference...and no I haven't changed size myself. But my mom just got a new washer & dryer so I'm not used to the settings. So after the fact that they shrank, how can I unshrink them? Like can I wash them, then while they are damp, stretch them out? Will that work?

I have khaki pants that I wear for my job, now lately they have acquired a black grease or some sort of stain always on the right pocket. Theoretically I have solved the source, but is there anyway to remove the stain from it?

Recently, my basement is flooded with water due to rain. It's finished basement.Just recently finished it. We used RugDoctor to take the water out of the carpet. We almost drained the water out. But the carpet pad is still very wet. Is there any way to dry the carpet padding? or Should I change the pad?? Can we reuse the same padding after dry it out. or do I need to but new one? Becuase it's the basement, I'm not sure how long will it to take to dry. I'm afraid that mold will form if it doesn't dry soon. Any ideas?? Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I want to bleach white T-shirts, but don't want to ruin clothes in the next loads. Do I need to run an "empty" load to rinse the bleach out of the washer before I put other clothes in?
