Cleaning & Laundry - October 2006

I had a power outage at my vacation home. all the freezer food and refrigerator food spoiled. I bet it had been rotting for about 1 month... I dumped everything but the smell was horrific.. how do i get the smell of rotten food out of my freezer and frig area????? I have used ..bleach, awesome, **** n span, amonia and nothing is getting rid of the rotten food smell..HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too many bubbles are causing damage to the sheetrock that houses the drain mounted on the wall behind my washing machine. Other than using very little detergent, I haven't been able to figure out what I could do that would reduce the bubbles formed during draining.

The water in my area is high in minerals, which leave deposits on my stainless steel sink and chrome taps. I have tried removing it with steel wool, but it doesn't do it. It also leaves a dull film on the marble in the shower.

I was trying on this sweatshirt and I had a white shirt under it. So when I took it off I had all this lint ALL over me. So I thought after it gets washed it will go away. So today I try it on and it happens again just hardly any better than the first time. How do I get rid of this?

i wore my hot white pants today while going out. :P
but i got a small nose bleed & a small drip of blood landed on my expensive white pants!!
whats the best way to clean it off??
ive never washed these pants by the way.there pretty much brand new. :(

i wear primary dark colors like black, brown, dark green, and such. I was my clothes with cold/cold water and i use kirkland detergant (the water solid little sandy thingy) then after wards i put it in the drying in low and i put in this tissue like thingys that are called softner sheets or something and i set it to dry. so what do u think i can do differently that can help my clothes not fade color. is there some special product that i can buy?

We have a loveseat from Ikea - brown wood frame with navy blue square cushions. They get wrinkled butt prints really easily - any way to get them out? Maybe with an iron or wrinkle release or something? Thanks.

I went to the movies with my kids, and like and idiot I put the popcorn on my lap..now I have a huge stain! I put some Palmolive dish detergant on it over night and it made it worse! Any suggestions? Help $50 pair of North Face pants I just love!

The power supply seems to be ok and I don't think it is a blown fuse as the light on the front comes on. I suspect there might be a faulty switch on the door-latch. Does anyone have any ideas on whether I am on the right track and how I can mend this?
