Put baking soda in them at night. It will absorb the smell. Also rotate shoes if possible. Fill an old sock with the baking soda and put them in the shoes.

You should wear the offending shoes with socks (woolen). And wash your feet often. The smell comes from perspiration of the feet and not the shoes. You might want to try an anti-bacterial powder - Mycota for example.

You can buy insoles like "odor eaters" by "Dr. Scholl's" that can be thrown away when they become too odorous. Also, never wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row. They need time to dry out and it won't happen by letting them sit overnight. Try putting a crumpled sheet of newspaper in your shoes also overnight.

How about typical foot powder daily...although when I asked my Doc about my smelly feet/shoes he recommended I change my socks 2/3 times a day.....seemed to work but it can be a hassle always changing socks!

You should wear those little nylon sockettes, they will absorb the sweat. Or, don't wear closed in shoes. Our feet need to breath. Also, make sure your feet are clean before you put your shoes on. There are feet deodorisers on the market.

my son had the same problem. if you have any vanilla or almond extract for baking, use a little in the shoes and leave overnight.
it really makes a difference.
