every time after i take a shower, no matter how hard i scrub, or what soap i use this happens.

for example, i take my wrist, and rub it with my thumb really hard for a couple of seconds, and black or broun, but mostly white stuff comes out. the stuff is hard to describe but it looks like paper shavings or something. only if i rub the spot with rubbing alcohol, then when i rub with my thumb it doesn't do that anymore.

i know when we wash, we never get rid of aaaall the bacteria, but how can still be SO DIRTY?

I was building a model airplane with super glue when I accidentally knocked the open bottle of glue onto the carpet. I quickly dumped water on the carpet and rubbed it with a towel. I got some glue off, but 3 hard spots remain. I tried using a carpet vacuum cleaner, but obviously it didn't work. Is there a possible way to remove the glue without destroying the carpet? Is there a cleaning product out there that I can use to dissolve and remove the super glue? Any help is appreciated. I need to get rid of this fast before my parents notice...

Someone please help! I washed my husband's shirt (seperately) only to open the washer and find it covered in shredded paper and set in to the fabric. He had left a note from work in the front pocket!!! I have rewashed it, shook it, rolled lint-remover on it...what else can I do so that it isn't ruined? THANKS for your help!

My daughter has a mechanical teddy bear that had a voice box which she ripped out of his bottom. His body is still hard and full of electronic components, although none of them work anymore. He goes everywhere with her and has gotten so gross and filthy that I would love to wash him but I'm concerned that the electronic components will wear down his fur and he will have holes in him.

The bear is made of a terry-cloth like material. Is there a way to wash him without throwing him in the machine? I want to make sure he is sanitary but doesn't get ruined. Otherwise my little girl would be devastated.

My boyfriend says you cannot wash the pot (the glass pot that holds the coffee) with soap and water. He says you have to wash it with a vinegar solution. I said you can wash the pot with soap and water, and it's the actual coffee maker that needs to be cleaned out with vinegar and water (you run the solution through the coffee maker). Who is right?

I had a bad (almost dangerous) accident tonight with trying to make popcorn "the old fashioned way" untop the stove. It heated up real fast, and to make a long story short.... my house quickly filled with thick smoke, and it wreaks in the house with that awful, permeating burnt popcorn smell! I doubt I'll be able to sleep tonight with that in the air, and I know from past experience it takes awhile for that to disapate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to "clear the air" in here???? Thanks!

Seems my coat sleeves grew a lot longer while being dry cleaned. It's also covered in a fine white powdery residue now. Has this ever happened to anyone else? What causes it?
