After a Birthday dinner the other night, I found that my taper candles had dripped down on my good placemats. They are a woven cotton and a light pink. The candle wax is bright red.

My kids left a carmex lip balm stick in their pants pocket and it went through the laundry. Now my wife's cotton pants have grease stains all over. Is there any way to get these stains out? Thanks!

The item of clothing is a pair of 100% polyester shorts. They were worn in a natural volcanic hot spring and stained by the floating copper particles of the spring.

While cleaning out my Mom and Dad's house I found many beautiful Irish (and I believe some French Canadian) made linens that have never been used but were stored incorrectly. They have some brownish spots here and there that I believe came from the brown paper bags they were stored in. I know cleaning them involves much soaking, but I don't know in what solutions.

I'm getting older and have cloths that seem to need a experience hand in getting it clean. How much dose it usually cost for the cleaners to do about five button shirts and five pants? On average. Thanks

My home is overrun with these pests. Every day I kill them but the buggers just keep coming I have no idea where they come from, the little maggot type things just appear on the ceilig. The internet has so far given no clues as all I can find are sites about how wonderful moths are.

HELP!!

My son decided to put a little color on everything this morning including his own arms. Luckily we were able to get it off of his arms with nail polish remover but i am afraid to try on anything else until we get a little feedback from so others out here! Our cordless caller id phone is now just cordless, our keyboard for the computer is now black and grey, the mouse has a lovely solid circle on it and my chair has markings on the attached cushions and wood frame. Oh and one of my credit cards is now solid black! This three year old is more and more creative every single day!!! If you can give some suggestions to help remove all of this lovely artwork i would greatly appreciate it!!

Several years ago I bought a product in the form of a something like a bar of soap to be used to remove soap scum from a ceramic tile stall shower. I can't recall the name OR where I purchased it. It worked really well! Is anyone familiar with this product and its name? All I could find online was a spray product called "Kaboom" and misc. "recipes" for soap-scum removing solutions.
