yard sale, freebox, craigslist, ebay, salvation army, DAV, AMVETS, Goodwill, any of the above should suffice.

Donate it to the Good Will or DAV stores to sell the proceeds go to help needy people ,or sell it on E-Bay .Everything sells on E-bay someone sold a wrinkled plain white T-shirt on ebay for like 6.000 dollars.Lava lamps are cool ,but expensive .They say one mans trash is another mans treasure.LOL .Good Luck.

put it on your sidewalk out front. a few hours you wont have to worry about it, someone will have taken it. lava lamps are cool, people want them but they dont want to have to pay for them.

If it is broken, just put it out in your regular garbage.

The material inside is not toxic. According to Wikipedia, it is just oil, wax and a metal coil...
