These shoes have pointy toes, and the leather at the point has worn down so that there is almost a hole at the tip. Can this be fixed? I really love these shoes.

Cat box was kept in hall closet by previous tenants. I have stripped and waxed the floor 3 times and the walls have been painted twice. Fabreeze works but only for a couple of days and then the odour is back. Any ideas?

Just got new laminate floors put in in preperation of selling. What is the best product that is safe for cleaning them? I don't like using disposable items such as swiffer etc. Something good for the environment please?
Thank you!

I recently purchased a new dryer. The electrical plug on the new dryer is a three prong dryer. The problem is that I have a four prong dryer electrical hook up. I currently have a old dryer that has the four prong electrical cord. Do you think it would be ok to replace the three prong electrical cord with the old four prong electrical cord? Thanks for your time.

I just bought a used couch that I really like, but would like to clean it before I move it in. Is there a place I can rent a steam cleaner in Manhattan? What about having it professionally done?

I have used clorine bleach to remove the stains, but I think I'm damaging the finish. My husband says I drink my tea too slowly. Maybe he's right. I use milk in my tea but no sugar.

I'm single, no kids, live by myself, and work Monday thru Friday. It's way too easy for me to put off cleaning. Each day I'm telling myself I'll do it tomorrow. Then Saturday comes and I'm cleaning for hours. Why can't I get myself to clean a little everyday so it doesn't build up on my day off? Where's my motivation?

my mum thinks that if i hang wet clothes up inside the house, hanging by the walls (ie, on hangers from door frames) then this will make the walls damp. is this true? it sounds like it could be, but it also could be one of those old wives tales!
