My husband and I smoke - up until a few months ago, we smoked inside. Until one day I walked in and got a good whiff and was disgusted! We now smoke outside. WHAT WE DID was simple - first, I shampooed all carpets, and put everything in the wash that could be washed, then we bought febreeze fabric refresher (the extra strength kind - lots of it) and sprayed everything we couldn't put in the washer. EVERYTHING. I did this daily for several days - and now you would never know anyone smoked inside! Also, candles (like the Glade ones that smell nice) work wonders too. I use those when someone is coming over - because non-smokers can smell many things us smokers cannot! Good luck!

Have you tried the Smoke Eater brand of candles? They make them in a variety of scents. They are supposed to eliminate the odor of smoking. They work fairly well. My foster son tends to smoke in his room even though we don't want him to. I can't stand the smell in the rest of the house. I actually found these candles at a tobacco shop.

Baking soda is pretty good for eliminating most smells. Also, hanging some of your clothes up in your bathroom when you take a shower can help, the steam takes the smell out.

Febreeze. But if you continue to smoke you will never entirely eliminate the odor because it will keep coming back.

When my daughters smoked in their bedrooms (they thought I didn't know) they used to rely on burning a candle.
I knew because I am their mother, not because I could smell the smoke!

It's almost impossible without wasing everything and I mean everything. Ceilings, wall, carpets, furniture, your clothing etc. As long as your smoking, the smell will linger in your home. Sorry.

you have to wash everything including walls floors, ceilins curtains, blinds carpet, furniture, all bedding and clothing even in closets and a mesh bag with fresh step kitty litter really does the job of keeping odors out of the closets

How about quitting? Smoking is a nasty habit, and can only lead to cancer or other such illnesses. This may be a good time to give it up.
