Not really environmentally friendly but caustic soda will do the trick. That's what they use to clean marble headstones in graveyards.

Not sure if this will work for you, but I had a similar problem with the white tiles/grout on my kitchen floor...no matter what I tried, I couldn't get them white again UNTIL on a whim I purchased the Mr. Clean Heavy Duty Erasers. These things are AWESOME! They can be found in the cleaning supply aisle. Just warm water and a little bit of elbow grease and the tiles and grout are both white again! Good luck.

If your tiles are raw marble(no glaze) I would spray them down with bleach and work it in with a stiff brush.Hose them off when done.Repeat if necessary. Good Luck !

well belive it or not vinegar is a great solution. it works wonders, it will get your marble looking like brand new. vinegar is also a very good anti-dandruff remedy, a relaxing bath lotion(a bit strange mind you).a pest repelant and many more useful economic needs.

wash down first with normal fairy liquid to remove all the dirt, then use white pickling vinegar, to polish and buff up, or mix the 2 together either way, you will be pleasently surprised....hope this helps
