If you don't have "Borax" in your home you can buy it in the laundry section of your supermarket. Start with Hot water in large bowl (depending on the size of the item) and mix in a few tablespoons of the Borax. Dip item into solution & rub stain out. For old stains, soak as long as needed. Works Great also for grape juice. 'J'

Whatever you do, don't put white wine on it. It's a terrible waste of wine. Unless you have some Leibfraumilch!

Hi Charlie,
Had that, and a tad of the old Domestos in the wash seems to fix it. Sad, but true.

If your fabric is washable, then use denatured alcohol; then, with an eyedropper, flush with vinegar for remaining color. For sturdy fabric, coat area with salt, hold over a bowl or the sink, and pour very hot water through the fabric from above.

If it is non-washable, use denatured alcohol. Dab with vinegar to remove remaining color. Dab with cool water; dry flat.
