These shoes have pointy toes, and the leather at the point has worn down so that there is almost a hole at the tip. Can this be fixed? I really love these shoes.

If the shoe has a "welt" where the upper is sewn to the lower sole, it can be repaired. Like in old penny loafers, you can see the seam line. If it is glued upper to lower I haven't found the "repair guy" who could fix it.

most logicly, im reading a book called "along the tracks" and the main charactors father is a carpenter and it said that he made a bit of money now and then when a peasent came by with a rip in his leather boots, so it is most likly possible, take it to someone who specializes in leathers, a shoe maker even. the point is you can fix them and save a couple bucks by repairing instead of replacing them.
