My mom does this kind of stuff. The best way is word of mouth. Start talking to people and they may know somebody that does this 'in their spare time' or as a job on their own to pay bills. Usually cheaper than any company can do and probably better since they are doing it to pay their bills.

when they say a min of 4 hrs that dose not mean thats how much time the spend thats the start pay most people charge a few of a min os 4 hrs at 10.00 an hr then every hr after the first the charge 10.00 more per hour . cleaning is a hard job give then some respect and pay well it is not easy going to someones home and them nit picken and cleaning their crappy tolet and all the other dirty stuff they want cleaned. u dont even want to clean it so dont u think its worth the money to pay some one well for their hard work. all if u do hire someone and they are good dont ask for xtra with out given more money and if they last show thm u know they have done a good job and that u care by given a small gift or bonus at christmas and on their b-day. u will keep her if u treat her well.

You might be able to share a cleaning person with a neighbor. Or you can put an ad in the paper. Sometimes you can find a female dayworker who will accept a couple of hrs. A friend offerred a cleaning woman at a hospital work on her day off and she accepted it.
