I just bought a used couch that I really like, but would like to clean it before I move it in. Is there a place I can rent a steam cleaner in Manhattan? What about having it professionally done?

You can rent a steam cleanner, just make sure it comes with an hand held furniture cleanner. IF THERE IS STAINS OR OTHER MARKS PRE-TREAT FIRST. I found that using spray-n-wash works great

I doubt there is anything you can do "cheap" in Manhattan. I would suggest renting a carpet cleaner with an attachment to clean upholstery.
