I have a pair of black military-style boots that I want to wear for a Halloween party, but they have grass stains on the outside of them, on the toe part. Would soap and water be sufficient to get them out? The boots are made of hard leather.

I know how to organise, I know how to delagate so the kids help. I know how to set certain activites to certain days, and I know how to minimize belongings so I don't have so much "schtuff" but why can't I get myself motivated to clean up.

I was over to a new friends home and totally awed by how tidy her place was, but when she came back to my place I was embarassed. We both have kids and we both work similar hours.

How can I keep my dresser clean, how can I keep ahead of this or that? I feel overwhelmed, even with the flylady.net program, I just struggle to bring myself to it for even fifteen minutes a day. And no I'm not depressed, or lazy. Just not motivated by this need.

I'm always looking for new ways to make my house smell good.
I can't always burn candles. My favorite way to make my house smell good is to put either sented pin cones or glad refells in the heater vents. When the heat comes on it carries the smell all through the house. Thank you for your time!

My sister brought over her new puppy 2 weeks ago, and the puppy went pee on my carpet. It smells so bad! When it first happened to blotted it all up, sprayed carpet stain on it, and cleaned it up. I could still smell it. I had my carpets shampooed - still smelled. I then tired Nature's Miracle - it still smells. HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS STINCH? There is no stain, just odor.
