well first of all ....
you should control the flow of water when u wash the spoons...the water gushing out of the tap will hit the spoon's curvy like surface and depending on the way you hold the spoon the water will splash towards the direction...
advice dont let the water gush out of the tap control the flow of water and i bet you wont have the rpoblem again....

Sheesh!!

Try running some warm water in a basin and washing them submerged. Then dry them over the basin.

It should solve your problem and get your dishes clean.

If that's too hard, try wearing an apron. Not a frilly one, though.

You are definitely doing it wrong. When I rinse the spoons the water sprays to my right getting my wife wet instead. After she has been baptized she makes me turn the flow down so neither of us get wet.

just luck mate....or the fact that those who are new to it splash water there just simply dont open the tap too much or too quick.

you need to squat down at the sink then it will only splash your shirt or put an apron on.
