For your drapes, upholstery and carpets, you can get a steam cleaner vacuuming, which has different pieces to clean your various places in the house.

You can also buy arm and hammer powders to put on your floor that will "seep" up the smell. You leave it on for about 10-15 minutes, and then just vacuum as normal.

Pour coffee powder,(the one used ) making the first serving) on a plate. Leave it in a place where nobody can see it. That will "swallow" the tobacco essent.

wash walls and ceilings, shampoo carpets and furniture, wash all curtains drapes, pillows etc.put aromatic herbs and eucalyptus where-ever you can.i also buy liquid potpourri and simmer it in my crock pots with the lid off in different rooms.if you have air vents for your heat as opposed to floor board heating put dryer sheets in the vents and place them under the cushions of your furniture.a strong solution of ammonia and water will remove stain from walls but if you don't have staining any kind of pleasant smelling cleaner will work nicely
