Put several boxes of baking soda in your fridge. Eventually they will absorb the odor. Replace them every few weeks.

Wipe down the inside of the fridge with dampened baking soda. Then sprinkle dry baking soda all over the inside of the fridge. Also put some dry baking soda in a bowl in the fridge. Close the door and wait patiently. The odor WILL go away.

it most likely is in the filter system and you need to clean the drip tray under the fridge then put baking soda on a baking sheet or tray plate whatever and let it sit in the fridge and freezer for a bit till the smell is gone I just went thru same thing with rental property . make sure fridge is on and running to work out the smell.

open the refrigerator and put slice lemon in side (at lest 10). remember to close the refrigerator and turn on . more lemon to speed up to clear the smell . u have to wait for afew day than the smell will come down.

or u can just open the refrigerator door (dont turn on the refrigertor) to let the wind to take away the smell.

plz tell me if u can get the smell away.

If it still smells that means there is still bacteria in the materials of your fridge. You've cleaned but now it may well be time to soak the surfaces in disinfectant and then after wards rinse thoroughly and wipe over with a little diluted lemon juice. Or better still you can just bin it and get a new one!

I would wash the inside (again, I know) with bakins soda water, and then leave the doors open to both appliances for 48 hours with the boxes of baking soda that the previous poster mentioned.

Put a bowl of unused coffee grounds in the freezer and frig and let it sit in there. Works when baking soda doesn't!

put crumpled newspapers inside the freezer = just half the size of your fridge freezer... or an open jar with half contained charcoal... make sure the freezer's OFF .. leave it for a day.. the following day - SURPRIZE! no more stinky odor

the composition of the paper absorbs odor...this applies to shoe closet... tupperware used for preserving food, etc...
