Be careful! Honestly, there are no quality washing machines any more. Sad but true. Everything is made to break after warranties expire so they can sell you parts or possibly another machine. Maytag Neptune? consider a look at a breakdown sheet of the machine itself. It's mostly plastic! ; also the digital panel on the front.(display panel), does go bad, usually after warranty expires, and will cost approx $500+ installation.Whirlpool puts out a similiar machine and is a little bit better quality but not much.

Consumer reports, they have a magazine, they may also be online. I hope you know that Maytag sold out, if you should buy one that is out there you may not get parts.
