mine does that, it means that the clothes inside the washer are out of balance. if i stop the washer and move the clothes around so they're a little more even, then start the washer again it sometimes fixes it. is your washer making a loud banging noise too? my washer does that from time to time and i was told there's a part inside the washer that needs to be fixed. i'd rather ignore the noise than pay money to get rid of it. if it just shakes, fix the clothes and make them more even and go from there. but, if it makes a loud banging noise too and you can't get that to go away and the noise isn't caused by the washer hitting something, i bet there's a broken part somewhere. good luck with that washer! hope you can fix the problem

Sometimes you might have it overloaded. This is cause unevenly clothes in the washer. If you have to many clothes in your washer, it will cause clothes to go more to one side of the machine.
Try not to overload it, and if this persist, turn the washer off. Check to see if more clothes are on one side of the machine. If so, just take a few move them around. Then restart the machine, wait and see if it happens again.
If this doesn't work, you might have to get omeone out to check it for you.

I appeared up this one, it relatively is a suitable-load washer, Did you place interior the washer or did sears? I ask because of the fact there are gadgets that secured the indoors areas of the gadget for cargo, those would desire to be bumped off at installation, those are many times bumped off till now the gadget is plugged in, they call them a rip cord and that's many times secured to the plug cord and you could desire to make an effort to no longer pull this gadget, i won't be able to think of them nonetheless being in place. many times they are yellow and the flexibility cord is hooked as much as a minimum of one end of the rip cord. The rear legs of the washer are "self leveling" the front legs would be raised and decreased via turning them like a screw. in case you won't be able to rock the gadget while it relatively is not working then verify it for point and alter the front legs as necessary. previous this it could be ok, somewhat shake throughout the spin cycle is to be anticipated. some older machines made via GE have been so undesirable they placed concrete 60# blocks interior to help stabilize them. commerce it. in the experience that your upstairs floor is sturdy then so ought to the washer be.

I know with my machine it generally means their is to much laundry weight on one side over the other, I would redistribute your laundry and see if that helps
