DH washed some clothes with a pen in the pocket. I thought the ink stains in the dryer were dried up but when I put another load in, the ink bled all over them too. I need to know how to get the ink out of the clothes and especially out of the dryer so it doesn't keep ruining clothes! (When I left the house this morning I put the clothes back in the washer to soak with Tide and Borax and turned the dryer on (empty) for as long and hot as it will go.)

I had this same thing happen to me. Man you just wanna cry when you open the dryer door and see ink all over everything! The thing that I used that got most of the ink out was I bought Greese Lightin (you can get it at Wal-mart) then I sprayed it on the ink stained clothes and let them sit over night then washed them in the morning and the ink was gone. With the dryer I used the same stuff and it helped but I also used a combo of everything under the sink (maybe dangerous thinkin back on it) and a lot of elbow greese and its good now. Good luck

Hair spray will remove ink stains out of clothing & off the washer & dryer. Spray some hair spray on a cloth then rub vigorously on the ink stains. Once the ink is gone, wipe with a damp cloth to remove the hairspray.

Use hair spray on the dryer stain to dissolve it, then wipe up the ink. That also works on clothes to a lesser degree. Put a paper towel behind the clothing so the dissolving ink won't get on the rest of the material. Then soak the spot thoroughly and blot up the stain with another towel.

Hairspray....apply directly to ink stain. Scrub it with a toothbrush, re-apply as needed. I'm sure it will work just as good on the inside of your dryer....just spray direstly to the ink stain and wipe with wet cloth, before the hairspray has a chance to dry. Hope this helps!

I used this cleaner called " Awesome" on a set in and dried ink stain. They carry it at most Dollar Stores. for a buck. A friend of mine uses this in her cleaning business. She swears by it! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it work for myself. Where else can you find something that works so well, for so cheap? I know there is a graffiti cleaner on the market, too, but it costs way more than a dollar.Good Luck!

Magic eraser for the inside of the dryer. I did that myself and oxyclean for the clothes. Good luck
