I use Kenmore Elite and they are the best washer and dryer I have ever used. The Elite washer uses much less water than a conventional washer too! The washer is so quiet sometimes I have to double check to make sure I have turned it on. I never get vibrations during the spin cycle either.

The quietest washing machine is one that isn't running.
The rest of them are mostly noisy to some degree..

without a doubt it has to be the Maytag Neptune...I have both washer & dryer. They are both super quiet.
