Tube was set on top & superglue oozed out on to wood. Need to remove without taking off the finish. I now have a blob of superglue that is approximately 1" in circumference & approzimately 3/16" deep.

Try looking for adhesive remover or super glue remover at the hardware store. Follow instructions on back. I can't think of any home remedies for this one. Good luck.

It sounds like you may have to take some of the finish off. Try this get some alcohol on a Qtip and go over thesuper glue and maybe you could peel it off with your fingernails.
If you could finda hot item like a small curling iron you may be able to melt the super glue and then remove it.
Be Careful and
Good Luck!

the only thing that i can come up with is. take a razer blade and lay it side ways so you run a smooth surface with your desk and then peel it off. after that, take a drop od finger nail remover and put it centered on the glue. once you put the drop one. rub it off and keep doing that until it is off but i would not leave it sit for too long.
