I am covered in mosquitoes as soon as i sit out, yet other people are not bothered by them. Is there anything i can eat to stop them, as repellents do not work!

Would be welding up to 5mm (1\4 inch) thick steel plate max. Have used both but am finding the costs of MIG welders to be too prohibitive.

My fiance comes home from Iraq next month and we're moving out into an aparment together. Over the past few months I've been buying little things here and there: a crock pot, glassware set, baking pans, toaster, shredder etc. I would love to know, for those of you who moved out on your own, what's one thing you didn't have you wished you would have thought to bought before moving out so I can be sure to have most of the important little things on hand.

We just moved into a new house. In the formal dining area we have room for a table that fits 6 chairs with enough room around. We could add another leaf to the table to extend it to fit 8 chairs. Should we buy 6 or 8 chairs?

I'm finishing my basement and adding a wet bar just out side the bathroom so that the water supply and drain would be easier to do. There is a 2" pipe that extends from the floor. I believe that the shower drain is connected to this this pipe. Can I connect to this pipe for my wet bar drain? I just had it inspected and the building inspector said that it is not vented properly. The wet bar is about 8 away from the sink and I think he said that a new vent is needed. How shall I do this?

How do you take a pencil sharpener apart without breaking it? I want to get the pencil-gunk out of it so I don't have to buy a new one. And, this one doesn't have screws in it, so that won't work. It has the hollow metal rod that goes through it.

Thanks.

I have a small baby nad the California weather is waaaaayyy to hot. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep the room cool? We have a celing fan (but it doesn't throw much air). We also have a window fan (for nighttime only since the night air is fresher). We don't have much money ... so we need those less expensive ways to cool the room. Please - my son and I have tried soooo many things ... and no avail.

How do I get it off? It is a medium green so I can't pretend that it is not there. Short of putting up some molding to cover it up, what can I use? I tried cleaning as I was doing it but it made a mess.

I used to have a fairly large bedroom but had to move out due to the fact that it needs to be shared and im much older than my siblings. I would like to find a place(or make one) where me and my friends can hangout and design it! (like a basement or tree house) but the problem is none of us have trees at our houses AND where i live no one has a basement. :/
Do you know any other places where we can call our own?
Or do you have a compromise(secret places ect)
Thanks!

Say you live in an apartment building with no one in the building has roaches, but your apartment is a mess. How do roaches come about? Let's assume you didn't carry any home on your feet or anything and your neighbors don't have any, how do people get roaches initially?
