I would think it to be a lot easier to go with white appliance paint and then find someone who can tint the paint for you.

Another option might? be to take it to a body shop for vehicles. It would be a similar finish, and they can mask it off correctly and paint it in a special room that doesn't have dust etc. I would think it needs to be a very similar formula of paint, to withstand the heat...but check with the folks there to see if that's true.

I saw a color very near pink, a super light coral, at Lowe's when I was shopping for metal paint. They have a lot of decorator colors of paint now for various materials. The key will be the prep and prime. I just used a hammered brass textured look finish that Rustoleum makes on some old metal cabinets that turned out nice. Doesn't even require prime it said on the label. I just made sure the cabinets were clean and not super glossy. Do a search on the major paint manufacturer sites and you'll see what's new and what paint can be used on what. Major home improvement stores may have less colors than paint specialists, but you can get an idea of what is on the market by visiting them.

All stoves have industrial coatings over the metal so you have to paint a coatings that is for metal, having a high resistance to temperature, and gloss finish with your custom color pink. You should only need a quart of this paint so it won't hurt your pocket book to bad. Good luck on this project!

No you cannot. I say this because I called in a man who paints appliances for a living. He painted my white refrigerator black and I asked him to paint the top of my stove black also. He said that he did not recommend it because it wouldn't last. He did it once for a person who didn't use her stove, but he wouldn't do it if you used it.

Check with Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin-Moore, and Porter Paint. I know they have heat resistance paints, but do not know if they come in pink or not. The normal is black. If not look in the phone book for Electro-Stactic painting ( That is for exterior finishes of appliances

There are companies that refinish the exterior of appliances with special heat resistant paint (they paint avocado or harvest gold appliances white most of the time). They can paint anything that is metal or enamel with any color you would like.

These days they can mix customs for spray paint, so I don't see why they couldn't make up some epoxy in the same manner. How much work it will be to obtain it is a whole 'nuther story. Start with your local paint store (NOT Home Depot or any other hardware store).

Yes - you can but you must use a special appliance paint that is high gloss. This is to be sprayed on . . . so make sure you do a good job taping and masking so you do not get any paint on the cabnets or surrounding area.
