I purchased 3 Azalia bushes for the back of my house. (west side) How far from the house should I plant them, and how far apart? They would really look pretty strange planted too far from the house, but I don`t want to dig them up and replant them in another year or so either. What could I plant in back of them that would look good, is tall, and not interfere with the bushes. Should I put all three together? I am starting with a clean slate, so any other planting Ideas for the back of my house? Chicagoland area Thanks much

I have so much to do. Weed garden, pay bills, clean kitchen, clean bathrooms, clean up after my bird (who is so messy!) and do the laundry....I don't know where to start. I just want to go hide under a blanket...yes, I'm too old to be feeling these things....what do you do to help you tackle a big to-do list? How can I make this fun for me or make a game of it or anything to help me get this stuff done!?

I bought a little chilli plant at Kew Gardens, but I'm wondering when they're "ripe". I know they go from cream to orange to red but do they grow longer when they're red, or is that it? They're all quite small. Don't ask what type they are, I haven't a clue, I'm not the gardening type. ;]

Hi, I am not a neat freak, and I am selling fabrics on ebay now and when I go to iron them there are dog hairs, a few and lint on them. Is there some kind of air filter I can operate/buy to clean/filter the air as it circulates so it kind of removes this hair before it settles on the fabrics ?? and what is it called and where do I get it and how expensive is it and if I knew what it was called I could search Also fixed income here, so best least expensive way thanks so much for all of the help I get on here

I have brand new landscaping with a pond and waterfall. There is not going to be anything living in it. I'm guessing it's about 300 gallons. I am adding water to the pond every 2-3 days due to evaporation (I'm in South Florida). I am also adding about a cup of Clorox to the water every 10 days or so. I brush the waterfall and pond down with a stiff brush to remove the algae and dirt, then skim it with a pool skimmer to clean it.

Is there anything I can use to keep the water cleaner longer than Clorox? Are there any slow-release chlorine or algaecide tablets I can float in there?

Here is my setup: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrichman/930353709/in/set-72157601080983794/

Thanks,
Mark

Okay i'm down to 2 different granites. Absolute black - pretty shiny black. Or and I'm not sure of the name of this one its a blackish-grey with tan and bluish grey specks in it.

Right now appliances are white but at some point I would like to get stainless. Probably not until I get my taxes back though. Walls will possibly be dapper tan. I'm not comitted to any color yet. I did think about a sage or celery green also if I go with the black. I am so undecided.
I love them both.

All there is right now is a little fan above the range with a wall switch. In the attic there is no duct work so attic insulation falls through onto our range when it is on. Is there some kind of duct or tubing that I can use and if so, how do I attach it?

I have two bathroom fans that I discovered aren't connected to the outside vents designed for them. The thing is, no one I've talked to can tell me what I should use to connect the darn things. ANY info at all would be GREATLY appreciated!
