it really depends on how tight you home is.. do a test, but be prepared to leave. first take you car out or it will be covered with the bombs residue. set off bug bomb, door to house and garage door closed..
while house check for any ordor from bomb. if not carry on what you are doing.. if your water heater,furnace is in your garage make sure the pilot light if you have gas is turned off due to the bug bomb having petroleum products in it and can
ignites.,. gets rid of bugs but bad on your house..

It would be best to leave. If this is not possible, make sure you seal around the door to prevent the checmicals from entering the house.
