Is there any way to salvage the appliance while getting rid of/killing the ants or just toss it in the trash?

Can anybody suggest which floor is better in 7 storey building, i am a bit confused on that. Factors influencing me are:-
Ground floor
1. park is almost adjacent.
2. I have a kid of 7 months so for safety purpose.

3rd Floor.
1. Will be more airy.
2. Sunlight will be more.
3. Less prone to insects as flat is at good height from park

I am looking for any other factors and suggestion for which flat should i go.

Thanks

Looking to add another 250-350 square feet on to our older home, and was just wondering, if we did the dry wall ourselves and had a family friend do the electrical work, how much can I expect to pay for the addition, approximately? We would most likely also do the floors ourselves as well.

Just not sure of how much getting the electric and dry wall done by ourselves and a friend will save us in the long run. I do trust the electrician, by the way.

Oh and nothing special, just a bedroom and possibly small family room addition. Most likely a 14 by 14 room and a 10 by 14 room.

My wife read an article in the Paper, where 20 Mule Team Borax Soap and White Vinigar are good for getting Pet "Pee-Pee" stains out of the carpet.
Does it come as just Laundry Detergent? Or is there another way to buy it.
I live in Central California.
My wife would be very greatful, if I could find what stores carry it...
Thanks...

I just bought a used dryer about a week ago and now I'm having problems with it. For some reason the dryer takes a really, really long time to dry my clothes. I can't dry my clothes a load at a time because it takes like 10 hours for one load to dry. If I put a towel in by itself though it dries quicker in about 1 hour. I reset the circuit breaker but still no luck. It's a four prong Whirlpool. I installed the cord but have not grounded it yet. Would grounding it have anything to do with the heat not producing as well as it should? (I can't find a small enough tool to connect the green wire on the cord to ground it.) Please help, I'm so frustrated and it has a 6-month warranty but I've already called the store where I bought it because I thought it was fixed but now I see that it's not. Help..dryer experts!!!

My current bath ventilation is circular so there is a circular hole in the ceiling about 15 inches in diameter. Inside the hole there is a metal housing that serves as the perimeter of the hole. The ducting hole is 3x3 inches wide but if i take out the metal housing then the pipe behind it is larger. I saw at Home Depot that most of the new vent systems are square in shape. How would i be able to fit a square shaped vent into the ceiling and how would i mount it inside? Should i take out the metal housing? And also the electrical wires are pre-wired like computer plugs are attached inside the computer. They are not like regular light fixture wires which you can twist together. How are current vent systems today wired? Do I need to rewire everything? Thank you for any help

We renovated our kitchen and my husband installed a double sink, a new garbage disposal, a diswasher, and the drain pipes that remove all that waste water to the wall where the old pipes now begin. Why are we experiencing this super slow drainage? The drains worked with no problems before, so I don't believe I have clogged pipes.

They each have a plug that one end goes to the blacklight and one end goes to the wall.I want to cut off the end that goes to the wall on 5 of them, and connect them positive to negative on all except 2.The last two I would connect 1 of them to a positive wire and 1 to a negative wire and plug it to the wall is this right.I mean connect them togehther like a ring the first one I would connect the postive to the wall and the negative to the positive on te next one until theyre all connected an the last one would go negative to the wall and positve from the other light.
